My first impressions of Beijing, China 🇨🇳
1️⃣ the air was pretty clean, there’s no more pollution that you’ve heard of back in the day.
2️⃣ everything is mostly electronic! I really love needing only my phone to pay for food, drinks and things.
3️⃣ there are also a lot of electric scooters everywhere. There’s even a special lane just for scooter/motorbike.
4️⃣ this is kinda a given but everything is soooo affordable 😅

If you’re a big fan of Don Quijote in Japan, they have some stores available outside of Japan!
And theyre called: Don Don Donki 🫶🏻
I’ve seen them in Singapore and Hong Kong!
But i think they have some in Thailand as well 😁
They actually have one in the US too, but only in Hawaii 🌺
I’m going to stop by when i go to Honolulu in a few months and buy some more of my favorite products to restock 💁🏻♀️

Thankfully it was barely raining when we were in southeast asia.
We went to Beijing, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Jakarta this summer! We spent about 3 weeks frolicking around Southeast Asia
It was so much fun but make sure you buy an umbrella. It should be one of those UV umbrellas because it got hot. But it could rain as well the next minute!

Having a luggage cover is essentials for me especially if I’m checking in my luggage.
It won’t really protect them from dents, but at least it won’t be that dirty and scratched up 😅

I finally went to Japan last fall and I researched a TON before my trip!
Other than researching things to do, see and eat.. I also research a ton of things about Japanese traditions and culture.
From my research, I learned many things like: not to eat and drink while walking.. as well as carrying hand towel around since there usually isn’t paper towel or hand dryers in public toilets in Japan.

Apps that helped me through my very first trip to Japan ⤵️
✅ Google translate - this helped with translating menus or signs. And even translating how to use things I bought from Japan.
✅ Google maps - this has every attractions I plan to do in Japan. You can find them in google maps and bookmark them so you don’t forget them. This is also the best navigation app for when you’re in Japan.
✅ Klook - I bought most of the attraction tickets for Japan through Klook. It is so much easier than trying to navigate websites in Japanese. They don’t charge extra either.
✅ SmartEx - this app is how I bought my Shinkansen tickets. You can search tickets by time and you can even choose your reserved seats in the app.
