Everywhere you look, everywhere you turn, there’s Christmas in the air. There’s magic everywhere. 🙏

A lot of people find this time of the year stressful. But it doesn't have to be this way. And there is one simple thing that can change it: GRATITUDE! 🙏

Gratitude for the change of seasons and how it makes our savoring of life more dynamic. 🎄 Gratitude for the holiday season and how magical it really is. 🎄 Gratitude for the winter season and everything it brings with it. ❄️🎄

Here are my reasons to love the Christmas season:

1. I start with the MOST IMPORTANT reason: GOD. My husband and I love talking about GOD and praying together. This is not only Christmas time, but that is also our life. I feel peace and love when we are praying together. We went through on really hard times this year (and previous years too), but we never ever lost our FAITH IN GOD! 🙏

2. Living in Las Vegas, where we have 294 days of sunshine and clear sky, I am really GREATFUL for the winter season. The days are still sunny however we can see some clouds sometimes. 😀
The temperature drops (finally), and I really enjoy the chilly mornings and evenings. That is when I put my sweater on and go for long walks. 😀 I feel cute and cozy wearing my warm hat with a pom-pom.

3. I enjoy the Christmas decorations. 🎄
The city really looks and feels magical. We don't have snow, but Las Vegas is really great at the decorations. We go to the Strip or just around our neighborhood and enjoy the glittery lights. 🎄

4. I love decorating our home and creating a glowing space with a beautiful Christmas tree and scented candles all around the house. 🎄

5. Love sitting under a blanket by the roaring fire in the fireplace. Love watching Christmas movies with my husband while drinking our hot coco or herbal tea (especially the Christmas - spiced ones).
If you have a hot mug of something in your hand, everything always feels better. 😀

6. Love wearing comfy lounges and warm socks at home. 😀
7. Love baking Christmas cookies and cakes. The whole house smells of cinnamon, vanilla and nutmegs. 😀

BUT please, remember the true reason for the season. Breathe it in. Jesus, our Savior, is the ultimate gift. His birth changed everything. Let’s be thankful for His sacrifice and love. 🙏

Let's be thankful for GOD for this magical season! 🙏

After 91 years of tradition, the massive and iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree has been lit, officially ringing in the Christmas spirit from New York and around the world. 🎄🎄

The 80-foot Norwegian spruce is adorned with about 50,000 lights, which totals about 5 miles of wire. 🎄🎄

On top, a 3D Swarovski star covered in 30 million crystals twinkled in the night as the Christmas special came to a close. 🎄🎄
