Just wanted to make an announcement:

After suffering a pretty bad back injury a few months back, I've recovered enough to be mobile and will resume working on our projects (at least a little bit).

Most of our playtesting has been online but I'll be sending a physical prototype to my collaborator so we can play it in the boardroom for our team builder exercises.

The Biggest Change:

As some of you know, in the MVGE, Allies and Locations have a mix of Skills (Represented by Icons) and Keywords (Represented by...Words); these are used to build rich and diverse Allies from all over the Multiverse!

We're in the process of converting those Keywords into Iconography to be displayed under the Skills on the left hand side of the card (example coming soon).

As we approach the release of both The Core Game AND Interstellar Olympus: Gods vs Titans, I wanted them to look clean and pristine. So much work has gone into the art...we want to show it off.

Mechanically, it'll work exactly the same but visually, less of the art is obscured!

In the meanwhile, the Screentop.gg version of the game will soon be available to play.

Evolution of the Multiverse!

Here are some side by side comparisons of OG-Pre-Pandemic Prototype and 2023-Prototype we printed for Dice Tower West.
They're both great snapshots of where the game has been and where it will ultimately go.

Biggest Difference:
Character & Background -> Poker Size C&B + Asset Tracker
This was really a cost saving measure which allows for deck box compatibility and easier Future Expansion Packs!

Bringing it Back:
Different colored cubes. This will speed up setup and vastly improve the tabletop appeal!

We broke the game during a 6-Player Playtest!
So, we are commissioning 4 Locations and 14 Allies for more breathing room but ultimately it will be for a dedicated 4-Player Experience.

What About 6-Players?
The +2-Player Option will be a Fully Playable, Stand-Alone Expansion. (Odds are in the form of The Lawless Expanse.)

There is a whole mess of game system resources that will be available soon; in both video and written formats with all of the essential art assets available to use under a Free License!
(Icons, Templates, Card Backs...Etc...)
