3 years, and over 50 episodes later, I believe it is time to finally lay this project to rest. When I started this podcast at 15, I was a kid stuck inside of my room due to quarantine and wanted my name to be known across my local scene but couldn’t get a band together, which brought the inspiration for this podcast. But after starting my own record label, co-founding my own band, and forming personal & professional relationships with artists without the need of a podcast interview, I find myself not having any desire to record, edit, or even reach out to others for the sole purpose of interviewing them. So why continue something that’s no longer fun? Why continue something that doesn’t provide irreplaceable value?
Thank you to everyone that has been apart of this project. Thank you to everyone that has ever listened to an episode. Now it’s time to leave room for the next generation of kids who want to cover and promote their own local scene.
