One thing about me is I am going to post Lulu’s monthly photos 2 weeks late!!! Count on it!

This happy girl is still stealing hearts and still not missing a meal - we have started “baby-led weaning” and she is starting to come around to flavors but tbh traditional baby food is still #1 in her heart. She’s crawling like a crazy girl, laughing, clapping, kissing, sitting up, trying to stand, and keeps us so busy. Lulu still is only saying “dada” but she sneaks in what sounds like “baba” every now and then. She also fully sleep trained herself (bc her mom is too weak) and sleeps 12 hours/night like the angel she is.

Time is going so fast but I feel like we’ve really been able to cherish our baby #2 instead of constantly being in survival mode like we were with Evie 😂 big sister Evie is still as sweet as ever to her Lulu although sharing toys is a HARD no. We’ll get there - maybe next month 😂

just post celebrated Christmas early with John’s family this morning 🎄 Evie, aka Taylor Swift, got the cutest pink guitar from Gaga and Poppo and is already writing dramatic songs about the perils of being the eldest daughter ✨ Merry Christmas Eve!

we never did newborn photos for mills after the craziness after his birth so I got all of my chickens (and John) dressed up cute today and we did some backyard family photos (with my phone propped up on a container of flour like the professional photo taker that I am) so we have at least a couple ‘nice’ family photos of mills as a baby.

please pay particular attention to mills’ face in photos with me and his face in photos with John. now you know who is out here doing the Lord’s work getting these kids to smile and who isn’t 😌

don’t let these sweet faces fool you, no one was happy about a photo shoot in this heat but huge shoutout to our porch fans, the real MVPs. my kids get participation trophies and John gets honorable mention for only complaining out loud one time 🙏🏻 Amen.

She’s growing so quickly we can’t keep up. In the past month, I am personally most excited that she’s been sleeping 9pm - 7am about every third night… not consistent but we will take it! She loves her big sister, taking baths, being sung to (she will try to sing back), and has been an expert napper. She has also been a huge fan of the kick and play and watching 400 episodes of Yellowstone with mom. 🤠

We still haven’t figured out this hair situation but I’m thrilled to have gotten a couple of half-smiles for year 2! 🥰
