This explains why The Chosen, Season 4 will premiere on the big screen in 2024. Showrunner and creator Dallas Jenkins told Fox Digital platform:

"This season demanded it," Jenkins explained. "You know, we were the first television show to ever kind of debut in theaters. And it's certainly an entire season. But that's not the reason. We're not doing it just to be different. This is a show that's on a bigger scale. This season is on a bigger scale."

He continued, "The setting is bigger, the sets are bigger, the emotions are bigger. I feel like the show is maturing this season significantly. The depth of what we're covering in the stories and the meaning of the stories is bigger than ever before. We want you to see it, and we want you to be immersed in it on a big screen with the surround sound."

I’m excited I will definitely be one of the theater-goers! Then I will stream it in the Angel app. I suggest downloading the Angel app now!!

Another Restaurant that I suspect didn’t survive the Pandemic. I wrote this restaurant review on Calexico (Detroit )in May 2021. Now they are permanently closed.

Last month mom and I went downtown Detroit in hopes of visiting a new restaurant. We were looking for a new experience and since the weather was nice (over 70 degrees), we thought we would get some walking in and try something different. After asking a couple of bystanders about restaurants in the area, we had our top three. Now, we just needed to google them and look at pricing. We decided on Calexico Mexican restaurant on Woodward Avenue. One of the guys referred to it as “pricy” Mexican food.

This came up in our memories. 12 years ago we debuted our first Dippidy Dew Drops Productions "Going Thru Changes" the stage play with monologues at the Wayne State Community Arts Auditorium on May 13, 2011. 288 folks filled the auditorium and so many people in Detroit supported us. We had vendors, concessions, and an afterglow. It was fire, funny, and an overall good time. Over the years people would ask when Dippidy Dew Drops Productions would produce another play and it never felt like the right time, but I am warming up to the idea of another one.

My heart is so heavy about the death of Regina King’s son. You don’t have to know someone to hurt for them. Praying her strength and that God will help her through losing her only son.
