Aloha! I’m Cec, the founder of the Kiko brand. Both my husband and I are from Honolulu, Hawaii but, we have lived in California for over 30 yrs! We have two dogs, Kiko, an American Bully XL and we also have Pua, our Chihuahua. We are a fun adventurous couple that loves outdoor activities with our kids, grandkids and dogs. Hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding and snowboarding to name a few. A family almost up for anything.
As you know with certain dog breeds DROOL is a big problem and bandanas are a quick way to deal with that. Dog bandanas are not just for fashion, there’s a practical use for them too. I also love to wear bandanas myself as a scarf. I thought it would be cute if Kiko and I could wear matching bandanas. Yes, I AM that corny fur parent.
On my hunt for bandanas I couldn’t find any prints that I liked. All the prints were all the same. Mass produced and sold by different vendors. So I decided to create my own Kiko line brand of bandanas. Some of the art are designed by other talented artist, however, I personally design these unique patterned prints and some of the graphics.
Some of you know that Kiko has a YouTube Channel, www.youtube.com/ One of the main reasons I decided to start the YouTube channel was to show what a great family dog American Bullies can be. Kiko is a 1st Pick Male American Bully XL, hence the stud services on the home page. These dogs amongst other breeds are highly discriminated against. So I decided to also use this platform to help spread awareness of the unfair stigma and prejudices these dogs get. When we take Kiko out for walks, half the people we encounter want to love on him or have fear in their eyes. They either step way off to the side or even cross the street to avoid us. It is not the best feeling in the world. I’m sure other dog owners of certain breeds can relate. Discrimination is not just a human problem it’s a K-9 problem too. This is why I created the No Hate Only Love Collection.
The rest of the collection is just for fun and to feed the need to create.
Our base location is in sunny California. When you order our product they are especially made for you. Our manufacturing production partners make them on demand instead of in bulk. This helps reduce over production and it is better for the environment. Our fulfillment centers are all over North America.
