A LOT of life has been happening lately & I’m still trying to catch up 😅 We’ve been eating a lot of takeout/frozen pizzas but I’m hoping to get back on my regular cooking & filming schedule very soon. It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself so HI 👋🏼 I’m Iz — thanks for being here :)

I’m a 27 y/o, full-time food content creator, living in a 30 foot camper with my husband, dog & 2 cats

We moved from Charleston, SC back to my little hometown in Pennsylvania about 6 months ago & believe it or not, learning how to cook in such a small space has been fun & rewarding

People think I run on ramen & pickles, which is only half true :) I have zero professional culinary experience, I make mistakes, am messy & have a lot of learn but cooking makes me happy so I guess I’m doing something right

I’m grateful to call this my job & wouldn’t be where I am without you, so thanks again 💕 love ya

Roast a turkey breast with me 🙂
1. Brine her — I used: water, salt, maple syrup, lemons, thyme, peppercorns
2. Deck the roaster with carrots, onions, celery, herbs, lemon, garlic
3. Make a compound butter with fresh herbs and seasonings (don’t use much salt if the bird is brined)
4. Dry, separate the skin from the meat & butter the bird, alllll over (buttering the bird leaves the skin less crispy BUT the meat more flavorful, if you prefer a super crispy skin, use oil instead)
5. Roast her — I roasted at 400 degrees until the internal temp was 160. It took about an hour
6. Baste every 15 minutes (if you’re going for crispy skin, rather than basting, brush olive oil on the skin every 15 minutes)
7. REST — she needs rest. 10 mins
8. Slice & SMOTHER with gravy
9. ENJOY! I served with glazed carrots & mash:)
