I have just heartd from Mokulele concerning Monday's papers; they did not come over on their first flight, they are hopeful that they will come-over on a scheduled flight (arriving around 8:30 AM). I will keep you posted whenever, and ask for your patience.

I'm glad to be able to deliver a little Good News !
I've just had call from Mokulele Air, and Our Star Advertisers
Sunday newspapers are on the ground at the airport !!!
(and I feel I must take a moment to give a Huge "Mahalo nui loa"
for Mokolele's heroic efforts, I was surprised and am grateful and
(We have all heard many negative, disappointed words for them, but) this time it is a hearty "Salamat" & "Mahalo" for your efforts); I am headed to the airport now, please be patient, Everybody will get their paper this morning...
so say something positive for Mokulele, make sure your neighbors don't need your help, say a prayer for those on Big Island, they have suffered through the night (over 13" in some places) And stay aware, this is set to be turbulent all through this week, so Be Kind, stay aware, and Pull Together, this is Aloha, and We All need to take care of each other.... I'm on my way ..... 🤙 😉 ✌

I regret to report that Lana'i Will Not receive ANY Star Advertisers today; having had No heads-up (either from Star Advertiser/ Honolulu, Or from Mokulele), I apologize to each of my customers; in my book, the Worst Possible scenario (especially on Sunday) I know some of you are sitting at your tables, coffee all made, pencils sharpened, with Nothing but a lame excuse.
[ Note: Now that Mokulele got the (inflated), Federally-controlled SUBSIDY, telling Us "How deliveries & passengers will be 'Better Served' this shows how sincere these Lies were (not) Meant to be taken seriously" ]
For the record: Mokulele is explaining today's Failure by A) claiming their entire fleet of planes are "Shut down for maintainence"; ALL planes? No service to Molokai? No, they are receiving their Normal schedule! Maui? No Maui's All Set !! (Lana'i? "Oh no, didn't we tell you, "You Will Not be getting Any Sunday papers!")
[ I think you all know just how much I dislike being forced to disappoint you, and) I will try to make-sure you get your Sunday paper gets delivered Monday ] Mahalo and Salamat for your patience and loyalty ....

**** ATTENTION STAR ADVERTISER CUSTOMERS & READERS
Unable to locate my copies of today's papers (they usually arrive on Kamaka on weekdays, Mokulele bring the Sundays); getting no response fropm either carrier, I posed the question to the folks in Honolulu who get them out (as early-as-possible) each morning. Only to be informed "Monday's papers will arrive on Kamaka tomorrow with Tuesday's papers".
What can I say? you all know how important it is (to me) to see to getting your papers to you, and I always feel bad (& a little guilty) when a can't fulfill my kuleana to Lana'i.... I'll be seeing you (home delivery folks tomorrow morning.... ✌😎🤙

there are no papers as yet, Kamaka has not landed 1 plane yet; as soon as they do, I'll be coming around delivering.

Our newspapers have been back & forth from Honolulu at least
4 (perhaps 5) times; Mokolele says "landing was not possible"; there may be a flight later (5PM or later), if possible, I will attempt to get all home deliveries done at that time, but more-likely, I will deliver them tomorrow. I apologize for Our failure, and appreciate
