Classic romantic wedding photos are always a joy to capture, but it’s especially phenomenal when you have a bride and groom who are willing to let you shoot whatever you want, however you want, and really go with the flow of the artistic vision. 🎨✨

Many of our couples come from very religious homes and might feel uncomfortable with touching or romantic shots on their wedding night. Often, we keep things simple and stick to the basics. So, when we get a couple who’s open and free, allowing us to express our creative and artistic vision, it really lets us shine. These are the moments where we can truly showcase what we’re capable of, and I think the pictures tell that story beautifully. 📸❤️

The Surf Club is one of those venues where you just can't mess up. Seriously, with its stunning water fountains right on the Long Island Sound and that majestic grand staircase, it’s like a wedding photographer’s dream. And then, voila, you add a gorgeous couple with radiant smiles, and you've got the perfect recipe for wedding magic. ✨

Now, I know what you're thinking—this sounds so cliche. And yeah, I write these captions and think the same thing sometimes. But day after day, we show up at these amazing weddings, and we see these smiles, these real, raw emotions, and I’m like, “Wow, it can’t get better than this.” Then I look back at the photos, and it hits me all over again.

So yeah, maybe it’s a bit of romance overload, and maybe I say “magical” too much, but honestly? We love this stuff. And it really is magical. 💫

Tonight starts three weeks of mourning.

We won't be capturing weddings for the next three weeks. It's a time to reflect and internalize. For us photographers, it's a brief respite to recharge our batteries (literally!) and prepare for the next chapter of the season, leading into the new year (Rosh Hashanah).

In the meantime, we're thrilled to start sharing galleries from the first part of the season. This one is absolutely stunning! We're so grateful to all the amazing couples and incredible vendors we've worked with over the past few weeks. You all have been truly amazing.

Let's hope the next weddings are in Jerusalem.

It's like a fresh start, a blank slate waiting for us to make our mark. 🎨✨

One of the biggest challenges of working within the Jewish market is the task of being creative in small Brooklyn wedding halls. While outside our community, wedding photography often features couples in stunning romantic locations, within the Chassidic communities, this concept is quite foreign. Many times, we find ourselves confined to a one-block radius of a basement hall, with limited options for outdoor shots due to various restrictions (a whole other topic in itself...). Despite these constraints, we strive to be inventive, crafting something beautiful that truly represents our work. When we succeed in this endeavor, it's truly something to be proud of. This project serves as a great example of our ability to overcome challenges and deliver exceptional results. 📸💍

📸🌟 This wedding became actually a collaboration between our studio and a well-known, incredibly talented photographer, who was in town. We've admired his work for a while, so when he let us know he was here from Israel, we just had to collaborate on a wedding together! 🤝💍 His style is a bit different than ours, featuring more black & white and shadowy elements, but we absolutely loved working together. We managed to create a stunningly diverse gallery for our client, blending both of our unique styles. 🎨🖤

We're thrilled to have had this opportunity, embracing the chance to learn, see new styles, and work with different faces in the industry. It's all about constantly improving our techniques and ideas to always deliver the best to our clients. 🌱👌

Do you ever have no clue what to post on social media platforms like OK? 🤔 I kept writing about the lovely wedding 💒 - how great the families were ❤️, how stunning the bride looked 👰, and the pleasant weather ☀️. I could talk about a myriad of random things, but really, we were engrossed in taking pictures 📸. I love the charm of a modern wedding with a couple willing to embrace unique moments, like capturing shots in the rain 🌧️. We adore taking photos and sharing the great ones we capture 🥰. I think that's a compelling enough concept to share on its own.

Winter, while it's great and has its own unique vibe for photos, can't compare to the joy of being outdoors in the great outdoors with a happy couple. 😄 I could shoot weddings every single day. 🎉 People ask us all the time - do you guys do bar and bat mitzvahs? 🤔 I think people assume - they see us at weddings - and nice ones - so they assume a bar or bat mitzvah must be beneath us - 😅 truth is we actually love them. 💖 And while there are the cheaper guys 💰 - when you hire us for one of them - you get the more experienced photographers who are mainly wedding shooters and take that experience into the bar/bat mitzvah world. 📸 We love the young energy - weddings are fun but kids' parties are a totally different energy and a very nice fun vibe. 🎈 See ya at the next one! 👋 🥳

You know, sometimes when I hear "wedding in Brooklyn," it's not as exciting as it could be. 🏙️ Outside of New York, you've got a lot more nature - 🌳 trees, 🌾 fields, 🏞️ lakes - true, you can go to the parks, but... 🌆

But then, there's Metropolitan! 🏛️ It's one of those really cool venues that leaves room for getting a ton of artsy shots. 📸 The sunroof lets in that beautiful sunlight, ☀️ the architecture across the board is stunning 🏛️, and that always helps create amazing photos. 📷

Being a Jewish person, this world, and my connection to Israel have profoundly shaped my life. Having two brothers dedicating themselves to the IDF, it might feel a bit unusual to share wedding photos today. However, it's crucial to remember that those who promote terror aim to rob us of our happiness, our "simcha," and our joy, attempting to leave us in tears. Nevertheless, we stand together, united, to thwart their intentions and choose to fill our hearts with even more joy.

I understand the urge to focus solely on current events and not share our work on Instagram because, after all, these posts play a significant role in promoting our businesses, right? We must showcase what we do and sustain our businesses. However, it transcends mere business; you see now, it's about consistently sharing these moments of celebration, these "simchas" that are the lifeblood of our Jewish heritage.

Each new couple embarking on their marriage journey is, in essence, building another Jewish home, giving us another reason to rejoice. This is what we must do - celebrate ourselves as a resilient Jewish nation. We will persist in sharing these joyous moments.
