If you find yourself in the constant toxic cycle of the runner/chaser dynamic with your twin flame, here’s a tip: Stop it! It’s not healthy. It’s not secure attachment. And this is definitely not a couple that is ready for a long lasting and healthy union. How do you break the cycle? Simple: If you find yourself to be the chaser (most common if you identify as the divine feminine in your connection): Stop chasing them. Stop seeking their attention, validation, communication, etc. Redirect all that energy and put it on yourself. Focus on your dreams, hopes, and desires (that don’t include them). Tend to other areas of your life that likely need some attention. Doing this won’t promise them suddenly stopping running and magical turn around to come to you, but it does bring you peace and relief, therefore opening up the energy to all new possibilities to bring you your heart’s desire, whether that includes them or means someone better coming along. If you find yourself to be the runner (most common if you identify as the divine masculine): Ask yourself what you’re running away from and why? What fear is driving this action. We don’t run away from things we aren’t scared of. Confront your fear. Seek support from those who would understand. As for the person you’re running away from - communicate clearly to them, even if it’s uncomfortable, rather than ghost. If you need time and space, tell them. Establish boundaries if necessary. Someone who truly loves you will respect those boundaries. If you feel open and ready to hear them out, hear them out. If what they say resonates with you, proceed. If not, continue with boundaries and clear communication about your needs for space. As long as you’re communicating your needs you’re not taking the coward’s way out, running. When two people can mutually respect each other and be mindful of the others boundaries with ebb and flow, that’s when you start stepping out of this toxic cycle and into a s
