The fourth collection to hit the runway was “Fresh Threads” designed by Jules Carlson (). We experienced crochet like never before. Each piece is made with intricate details ranging from vibrant to pastel colors. From the streets to the runway, there is something for everyone.

Backstage, makeup artist, hair stylist, and wardrobe coordinator, held down the fort. With over 40 makeup and hair looks and outfits to keep track of, these ladies’ job was nothing short of an amazing feat.

Meet our host of the BLOOM Spring 2023 Fashion Show, Arlington High School senior, Chloe Dunne (.dunnee). Dunne carried us through the night seamlessly, making her appearance on the runway as our MC. She is continuing her studies in the fall at and will be studying journalism! Dunne says, “As sad as I am that this is end for those of us graduating, I’m excited to get involved with things like this at Marist. I’m excited to be apart something bigger than myself.”

The third collection of BLOOM highlighted pieces from , which is located in the 2500’s. Admirals Closet is made up of donated clothes which are available to anyone in the high school, free of charge. Ask a security guard or teacher to unlock it for you, and shop!

“Veiled” by was a collection composed of a mixture of thrifted, up-cycled, hand-sewn, and crocheted garments. She drew inspiration from the beauty of mushrooms with their almost-alien geometric growth patterns, and the Greek towns of Mykonos and Santorini with their white plaster homes and crystal blue waters.

Models kicked off our Spring 2023 Fashion Show this afternoon in Collection #1 titled “Rebirth” designed by .

“‘Rebirth’ encapsulates the essence of renewal, transformation, and new beginnings. These designs draw inspiration from the powerful journey of personal growth and rejuvenation, and celebrate the resilience of the human spirit. Most importantly, it embraces the beauty of change.”
