For the Sauce:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp pickle relish (optional)

👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Divide the beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than the buns (they will shrink during cooking).
2. Optional Crisp Coating
If you want crispy-edged patties, coat each patty lightly in flour, dip in beaten egg, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
3. Cook the Patties
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Add a little oil or butter.
Cook each patty for 3-4 minutes per side, or until crispy and golden.
During the last minute of cooking, place 2 slices of cheese on each patty. Cover the skillet to let the cheese melt perfectly.
4. Toast the Buns
Spread butter on the inside of each bun. Toast on the skillet until golden and crisp.
5. Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, and paprika.
