📖 Dr. Amy Baker serves as the Resource Director for Faith Church Ministry in Lafayette, IN. She is the author or co-author of over a dozen books and booklets. Dr. Baker is an ACBC certified biblical counselor; an instructor and counselor at Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries, and a Council Board member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition.

It's easy to get comfortable and avoid what's hard. But if we truly love God and His Word, we know our focus should be on loving Him more than chasing ease.

💪 Yes, workouts are tough, and discipline in eating isn't always fun 🍎, but loving God more than we love avoiding discomfort brings true fulfillment. 🙌

When we place Him first we can taste He is enough. ❤️

👥 Mom2Mom is a class designed for Moms with children of all ages. Each week our teaching team speaks to us on basic foundational truths from God's Word and gives us practical ways to apply these truths in real life situations.

For the 2024 & 2025 school year, we will be studying Biblical Priorities applied to Motherhood. We will look at how our speech, thought life, outward appearance, time management, and purity can reflect Biblical Priorities and God's values. We'll be learning how to practice godliness in those areas ourselves and also how to encourage our families and children to live godly lives as well.

Adoption is a beautiful picture of our spiritual adoption into God’s family. But in this fallen world, adoption can also come with grief and struggle for many adopted children and adoptive parents. In the episode, they discuss how adoptive parents can ground their children in Biblical truths and how it can help them embrace their adoptive family. 📖

Pam Bauer is a graduate from Faith Seminary’s MABC program. Pam and her husband have adopted 12 children from Russia. Pam dedicates herself to counseling children in her community. We were so excited to have her on the podcast! 🎧

📚 Dr. Stuart Scott is the author of many wonderful books on different biblical counseling subjects. He wrote "From Pride to Humility," a very helpful booklet on spotting pride in one's own life and developing humility.
He is a professor of Biblical counseling (formerly at Southern Seminary and the Masters Seminary) and is currently working with Bob Jones University to establish a counseling center. He is also a certified Biblical counselor and fellow with ACBC.
