Brian Patton of SOILENT GREEN streaming now!!

In this episode of TFTR, I am joined by none other than Mr. Brian Patton of Soilent Green, EYEHATEGOD, and Outlaw Order. If you follow the New Orleans metal scene, then you would know that Mr. Patton is synonymous with the insane amount of riffs that have been injected into the veins of the scene at large. Brian wrote an absurd amount of songs that rabid fans have long been playing on their stereos, phones, etc. This was an interview that I had been looking forward to for a long time. Brian was gracious enough to lend me his time just before he took the stage at Southport Music Hall in New Orleans for what would be an incredible performance by Soilent Green. Kick it with us and hear the words straight from the Man himself.

In this episode of TFTR, I am joined by Christian Bakka Larson of NECROFIER. Christian joined me for a full on chat about all things Necrofier, his involvement with HELL’S HEROES, and of course; his origin story. Be sure to give Necrofier your undivided attention because they are one USBM band that is a force to be reckoned with. Catch them live in a city near you this summer with co-headliners Goatwhore that starts on September 5th.

My sister Michelle Hanks and company doing the damn thing!

In this episode of TFTR, I am joined by High Black River out of New Orleans. High Black River consists of bassist, vocalist and founder; Michelle , drummer Ana, and guitarist Espie. This all female power trio has been working non stop for over 2 years developing their sound. The collective drove all the way down to TFTR headquarters for an in studio chat to discuss the band’s creative process as well as their time in the studio ahead of their debut show at this year’s 15th annual Creepy Fest on Sunday July 21st. Check out their single Cosmic Child that opens the episode. Huge thanks to High Black River for their time and this lovely chat.

In this episode I am joined by Graz, Austria’s GUYOD. The band’s lead guitar player, Dohrn and their vocalist Ojin were kind enough to meet me over the internet for an insightful conversation. Guyod’s musical inspiration is “drawn from uncharted depths...where no light, no color, and no man resides.” Make no mistake about it, the riffs, the vocals and the atmosphere they create is soul pummeling. Their music is mysterious, blackened, and carries enough depth to lose yourself. I am really excited about Guyod. Their songwriting and music is truly thought provoking as it is intense. Listen to our chat, and familiarize yourself with the immersive Guyod.

Joining me on this episode is Levi Fuselier of the legendary Lafayette death metal band that once was SABBATIC FEAST. Levi joins me from the mountains of Tennessee where he now resides. Sabbatic Feast was a band that delivered Earth shattering vibes to those who were lucky enough to witness their path of destruction. Journey back into the past and hear what Levi is up to now.

Ladies and Gentlemen...prepare yourselves. One of the baddest motherfvkers to ever to do it...Richard Cabeza, the founding bassist of DISMEMBER joins me for over an hour. We shoot the proverbial s**t, be sure to keep up with the conversation. Hailing out of Stockholm, Dismember is one of the forefathers of Swedish Death Metal. To say that I was excited about speaking with Richard is one of the biggest understatements of all time. Growing up on death metal, Dismember was and is still the reigning champions (in my humble opinion). Huge shoutout to Like An Ever Flowing Stream and Indecent & Obscene.
