Joining me all the way from Serbia, my brother in arms Vladimir Cokorilo. Vladimir is the current bassist of Pannox. However, the man is also responsible for some of the sickest interviews that I have ever read during his time at Metalbite.com. The man contributed to over 80 interviews in a 2 year time span that features Trym Torson of Emperor, Zyklon, Nasty Savage and many more. I consider Vlad a very dear friend, and someone who has inspired me no less.

Earlier this year, I had the extreme pleasure of visiting Mr. Tommy Buckley at his home. Ever the generous host, he invited me in and we had such a lovely chat about everything that is the New Orleans sludge metal sound. Mr. Buckley was there at ground zero when it all came to be. This was a conversation I have been wanting to have. Someone who had lived through the beginnings of a radical sonic movement that is often duplicated in all corners of the globe. Strap yourselves in for this once in a lifetime conversation with a drummer who was built for two of the most extreme metal bands that has ever come into existence: Crowbar AND Soilent Green. GET SOME.

n this very special episode of TFTR, I am joined by none other than Brice Leclercq, formerly of Dissection and Satyricon. Brice was gracious with his time to provide a brilliant conversation detailing his musical journey through the years. He highlights the period when he auditioned for the role of bass player in Dissection and he was able to secure his dream job alongside the likes of Jon Nodveidt. Dig into this chat as we discuss his new project From Kaos and everything in between.

Happy 2025 everyone. We start the new year with Circle of Nerves. Based out of Stockholm, Sweden the band Circle of Nerves are paying homage to their North American counterparts of the sludge metal variety. Their name is taken from Louisiana's own EYEHATEGOD's releases, so you know they are students of the game. Their sound is aggressive as f**k and just as groovy. I am joined by their drummer, Anton who was gracious with his time to give me his story and how Circle of Nerves had come to be.

I remember when this handle had ZERO followers.
Thank you to all of you who’ve been with it from the start. And to those of you who are new, thank you as well. 2025 is shaping up to be something gnarly. And we are just in January.

Thank you to all who continue to tune in, support, and share what we are about!

Literally cannot do it without the artists and you the loyal audience.
