A Fond Farewell to Anneke Jans

As one local business to another, we at Tangram 3DS want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude and admiration for Anneke Jans. For over two decades, Jason and Megan have been a cornerstone of Kittery’s community, providing not just incredible food but also a sense of belonging.

Anneke Jans has been part of our story, too. Over the years, we’ve celebrated milestones and shared holiday dinners within the welcoming embrace of their beautiful space. Most recently, this past Christmas, Jason and Megan created a stunning setting and menu for our team—a memory we’ll cherish as part of our own 22-year journey here in Kittery.

Your dedication to excellence, creativity, and connection has left an indelible mark on all of us. While Anneke Jans will be deeply missed, your impact on this community will not be forgotten.

Here is a little to one of our favorite projects: The Historic Hotel 1928 in Waco, TX. This stunning renovation, led by none other than , breathed new life into this gem, and we had the pleasure of creating these renderings to showcase its beauty. These three scenes are some of our personal favorites—seriously, who wouldn’t want to cozy up by that fireplace with a good book?

Yesterday, the The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth hosted their awards luncheon at the Envio. We were honored to be nominated for the "Small but Mighty Business of the Year" award. While we didn’t take home the win, being included among such an incredible group of nominees already feels like a victory.

We had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented Melanie Conant from Conant Design Group to create renderings for the stunning freestanding clubhouse in the luxury multifamily community in East Norwich, NY called the Heritage Oyster Bay.

The vibrant and thoughtfully designed spaces reflect Melanie’s exceptional vision and attention to detail, and we’re honored to have played a small part in bringing this project to life. It turned out beautifully!

In Nashville’s buzzing Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, a bold vision has become reality, and we’re honored to have played a small role in its journey. A few years ago, we had the privilege of creating the renderings for this incredible project in collaboration with Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture. Seeing the finished campus today is an amazing reminder of how these projects come together over time.

This mixed-use campus is a game-changer for the city—Nashville’s first large-scale mass timber development. It features 200,000 square feet of Class A office space, beautiful communal green spaces, 273 residential units, and even an outdoor bandshell concert venue. One of our favorite touches? The inclusion of the iconic guitar-shaped scoreboard from Greer Stadium, giving a nod to the city’s legendary music scene. A huge congratulations to everyone who poured their heart into this development—it’s an absolute stunner!

In 1858, French photographer Gaspard-Félix Tournachon, known as "Nadar," (2nd image) made history by capturing the first aerial photo—from a hot air balloon hovering 80 meters (262 feet) above Paris (3rd image). It was a groundbreaking feat that required a lot of courage (and a strong grip). Today, the technology has evolved, but the ambition to capture breathtaking aerial views remains. At Tangram 3DS, our licensed pilot Marc Fagan combines precision and creativity to deliver high-definition aerial shots (4th and 5th images) that elevate every project—no balloon required.
