Hi friends, in the midst of this joyous holiday season I'm saddened to share the passing of a beloved member of our Heart of the City Band. (Edited from Dan Adler) Annette Bittner passed away today. She was such a great friend, singer, lover of Jesus. She contributed so much to the band. We did lots of road trips and great adventures together and she was a great team member, kindred heart, minister and fun buddy! She will be greatly missed. Pray for her husband AJ who in middle of his loss is now faced with huge medical bills. I encourage you if you can at all to show your love by giving generously.

To all our friends south of say, Missouri (give or take), this is how Faby and I spent about 30 Christmases up in Minnesota! For us it's mostly accurate except for the ice-fishing and eating lutefisk part - we preferred Puerto Rican pernil instead! (We did love lefsa though, I mean who doesn't?) Thanks to the Minnesota band Heartsong for capturing it all brilliantly in song! Catch them, along with other great indie Christian artists on this week's special Christmas Rewind episode!
