With each passing year, I find a few more and more damaged tapes that belong to customers. Unfortunately, this type of damage cannot be repaired and the tapes are a loss. All types of VHS tapes use magnetic charge to store the video and audio data on the tape. The problem is, the magnetic charges weaken over time. And if there are storage problems such a temperature change and moisture, these issues are amplified. Been putting off having your videos transferred?
