After several years, I knew it was finally time to invest in professional branding & a website for Danielle Sloan Photography! .co has been amazing & truly nailed every. single. detail. This has been a work in progress since early October & I truly appreciate all the time, love, & effort she has poured into this project for me. This process has been so fun, & has really encouraged me to dig deeper & determine the root/why of my business. My precious family 🥹 They are the root of this business of mine & I love them so much 🤍

I have always loved art, photography, & creating from an early age but my love for photography only grew once I became a mother. I never wanted to miss a moment. I know first hand that time is so fleeting. Babies don’t keep - they grow & change so quickly. It is so important to document each season we are in with our precious family. The tiny hands & feet, the gummy grins, sweet giggles, baby rolls, loose teeth, silly faces…the list goes on & keeps growing as your family grows & changes. There is so much beauty in the simple, everyday, mundane moments. I have such a love & appreciation for it. I want to document your family just as you are in an artful, genuine & intentional way. Slow down, let go, be present, & embrace the chaos. Let’s create family heirlooms to treasure for lifetimes.

Hiiii friends! New headshots call for an intro 💕🎉

✨I’m Danielle but you can call me Dani 🫶🏻
✨I am a sinner saved by God’s grace. I accepted Christ into my heart at the age of nine years old. Without him, I would be nothing.
✨I have been married to my best friend of 11+ years. We have been together for 15+ years.
✨We have two beautiful babes - they call me mommy 🥹
✨We homeschool our children.
✨I am the kinda crunchy, kinda introverted friend.
✨I cannot start my day without a hot cup of coffee or continue my day without an afternoon cup 🤣
✨I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, hiking & traveling.
✨I am a full time registered diagnostic medical sonographer (ultrasound tech).
✨I am a concert ju**ie. I love me some live music. You could call it my self care 😆
✨Tacos & margs are my love language 🌮🍻
✨We are in the process of building our forever home & hope to be finished in the next few months.
✨I have a studio in downtown Kingsport .on.mainkpt where I do a lot of newborn & milestone photography as well as rent it out to other local photographers.

Merry Christmas my dear friends! I hope you guys had the best day with your loved ones slowing down & spending quality time together 🎄✨🎅🏻🤍 this year was a bit different for us as my babies have been fighting the flu off for the past week so we stayed home & made the most of Christmas resting, reflecting & praising God for sending His Son, Jesus, to deliver us from our sin.
I had the opportunity to take photos for the McCartt family recently in their beautiful home. It was truly the perfect day hanging out with them as they decorated their tree, made a gingerbread house with the help of sweet tiny hands, & sipped on some hot chocolate 🥹 this session was a great reminder to slow down & enjoy our babies within the chaos.

Hey friends!
I wanted to give a quick business update! Soooo my son accidentally fell on my laptop yesterday & cracked my screen. This was the aftermath & then the screen went completely black. My sweet husband drove all the way to Knoxville to Apple today in hopes of it being fixed so that I could hopefully avoid delays on the delivery of galleries. Unfortunately, Apple had to ship my laptop off to run diagnostic tests & repair the screen & I will not get my laptop back until this upcoming Tuesday 12/17. I deeply apologize for any inconveniences as galleries will potentially be delayed a couple days. Praising the Lord that it was just the screen & not my entire computer. Also praising the Lord that I at least got all Christmas galleries delivered before this happened. Thank you guys for being so very wonderful & understanding during real life accidents! 🫠😅🤍

Hi friends! It’s been a MINUTE since I’ve posted to my feed, but I am still here. I have been working a lot behind the scenes since busy season for my business has been in full swing since mid September PLUS building our house has kept us soooo busy. I cannot wait to share more of the building process as well as the sessions/weddings I’ve been working on.

This year I began venturing into film photography & it has my heart. I received a bunch of film back this week so be prepared for me to spam you guys with it 😅

I wanted to share this beautiful in home newborn session that I captured on 35mm film. It has me in my feels this morning. 🥹 What an absolute honor it is to allow me to document your family during such a special time welcoming a new + perfect addition to your family. Postpartum is also such a beautiful yet vulnerable time but has absolutely rocked it! To trust, be vulnerable & allow me to capture your family as you are - that’s where the magic happens. The messy, the chaos, the imperfect. It’s beautiful. I always want you guys to look back on your photos & remember the memories made during your session with me.
