In a very short span of time, miss viral “Cooking with Kya” has gained 1.4 million followers on Instagram, 970,000 followers on TikTok, and 52,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Did Kya say that if you don’t cook for your man, she will? Yes.

Did that p**s a lot of women off? Yes.

I will say that even though Kya has created content throwing shade at women for the male gaze, at least she’s making a cute coin from it. I mean, there are women out here carrying on with the pick me antics for FAR less. I’m talking 10 likes and 2 shares. I’m talking zero dollars and zero cents.

And truthfully speaking, Kya is a young lady. She is only 23 years old. And I think we should give her the same grace that we give women who have at one point chose devious and dishonest DACK, over their loyal and caring female friends. Amirite?

Since I have no ill feelings towards the girl and I am rooting for her continued success, it would be nice to see her do a rebrand. She can start creating content with other young, up and coming women, and let the “I’ll cook for your man” stunts, be a thing of the past. Taking this strategic route, would definitely complement her brand the best.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to what she has in store for us next. ❤️
