Tsunami Creations Inc. Tsunami grew up during the hippie era, being born and raised by the sea, it has made him a true nature's child, which is all evident in his artwork.

Tsunami was gifted with a vivid imagination from birth. This gift was evident in all his endeavors, never a need for fancy toys or the hypnotic brain dead affects of the television set. Whatever he dreamed he was or wherever he dreamed he was at; he was. He started drawing at the age of six, however, his self adopted style of “Idealistic Surrealism” surfaced when he was around twelve years of age.

When the alluring charm of summer’s green and warmth turned to the howl of the Nor’Easters bite, he took to the drawing table and started a long journey, one in which would take more than a decade to develop his style through trial and error, and eventually become his life. At that time he never thought to draw from a picture, he would take a blank piece of paper and merely draw from his imagination. His imagination needed no developing, but his artistic talent did, simply put; his brain was ahead of his hand. Tsunami had many creative ideas and many pieces of scraped canvas in his portfolio’s boneyard. Through his studies emerged various projects which, in turn, led to the creations of certain pieces of art. One piece, in particular, was “The Local Watering Hole.” This piece of art was created as a study in creating art for illustrating a children’s book manuscript. A couple of years later, Tsunami decided to write the manuscript himself illustrating his art style into the entire book. Of this project emerged “Talk of the Jungle,” “Hmmmm,” “The Royal Meeting,” and “I’ve Spoken to the Birds of Migration.” The book has twenty-four illustrations in total. Another project was his poetry book entitled “The Journey’s Expressions: A Collection of Dreams, Visions, and Memory.” This poetry book consists of close to fifty poems (all written by Tsunami) with an illustration being created for each. Of this project blossomed a series of art pieces which shows a former dark side of Tsunami. This project led to an expansion of mediums into some extraordinary work done in a study of black and white pen work. Some of these illustrations included “Disenchanted Forest,” “The Gate,” and “The Looking Glass.” Tsunami plans to choose 12 of these to illustrate for a calendar. Tsunami has also started another children’s book manuscript entitled “The Adventures of Omer Bedloe; A Wayward Elf.” One particular piece to look at is “Troll Town” which is still under construction. Finally, Tsunami has started creating cards with some fantastic design elements. These cards are not like your traditional cards, but a fresh look incorporating his style of art into a complete line of cards for all occasions.
