I'll be at the Kenosha Book Festival the next day.

We had an amazing weekend at Beach Front Arts Fest and the Kenosha Art Market.

Our next vending spots are the August Kenosha Art Market on the 18th and then the Spooky Frog Presents: A Horrifying Book Fair Part 2 at Xray Arcade in Cudahy on August 24th.

I'm catching up on *my* writing this week and then have a few editing projects to start as well as an ARC I'm super excited to read for Martin Lastrapes' new novel.

I won't be there this week— my Lupus has landed me a week of rest with my legs elevated, antibiotics, and trying to work only from the recliner.
You should totally go buy lots of books from local authors plus check out the used books section and the store.
You can buy my books from Studio Moonfall and help support the coolest indie bookshop I've ever visited. If you want them signed, bring them to the September book festival or anywhere else I'm vending.

Pixie Wolf will be attending two events this weekend:
Saturday, we'll be at Kenosha's Pennoyer Park for Beach Front Arts Fest 24'
Sunday, we'll be at the Kenosha Art Market

Miya will have out her books at the Art Market. The Beach Front Arts Fest will be mostly her resin and chainmail treasures.

She will be at the Spooky Frog Part 2 Festival in Cudahy on August 24th and should have books from our other authors as well as her own, plus a selection of shinies. (We're waiting to hear back on how much space we're allowed to use before she plans how much resin goods, chainmail, and 3d printed friends to pack for that one.)

This is one of our new glow in the dark 3d printed friends we'll have at the Keno Nite Market.

We are licensed through Layers in Green to print and sell their designs, allowing us to bring you affordable new friends. This is one of their wish spirits.

"The Star" is the next book in the Fatespun Triumvirate. Chapter one is up on Miya's Patreon where you can commission stories. It's something like a plotbunny adoption service where you can have Miya write the stories you want. (Link in the comments)

Upcoming events!

I'll be vending at the Keno Nite Market with mostly shinies on February 9th, but I'll probably have some copies of "Three of Swords" and "Saving the Storm Mage" with me. It's a family friendly event, so I want to test the waters a bit before taking my spicier titles.

The following Friday, on the 16th, I'll be at Studio Moonfall with all of my (Miya's) books that are in print and a few shinies. The ZomBeans have promised to not nom on my brain too much so that I can have some new book boyfriends for people to check out in case their Valentine's Day needed a bit more spice.

Dates are upcoming about the Kenosha Author events throughout the summer, the Kenosha Art Markets when I hope to get books from our other authors as well, if any of our authors have events local to them, and confirming if we'll be back at Midwinter Gaming Convention next January.

The are an excellent reason to buy books, either for yourself or for loved ones. You could even buy books to fill those little libraries that are on the sides of roads to help people you don't know have a wonderful couple of hours with a new book.

As KU reads drop off, we've started going wide on our ebook sales again. This means you should be able to find our books at your favorite ebook retailer.

You can also choose from multiple formats over at Smashwords to move onto your preferred reading device.

I prefer to read on my phone as it goes everywhere with me, though I tend to read more at once if I'm reading at my desk—either through a cloud-based file in my browser or through an ebook app. My husband tends to read on his tablet. My kids prefer their actual kindles.

What are your preferences?

"Warlock at Law" is free today and tomorrow. Our editor has been busy with a kid in the hospital right before school resumed, but it looks like 100+ new readers discovered the free copies on Kindle Unlimited already today.
