We have big news! For 17 years, Fig has been on a mission to introduce you to the small businesses and impactful nonprofits who are the heart and soul of special cities like Lancaster, PA, Lehigh Valley, PA, Columbia, SC, and Aiken, SC.

For 8 and 10 years respectively, we also spread the love local message in Kennett Square and West Chester, needing to hit pause in 2020.

We’ve worked for the past two years to build a model that empowers a local team of creatives to bring Fig back in the Brandywine Valley, or in any special community across the country.

Fig has been working for almost a decade to champion small businesses and local non-profits in Kennett Square. In the summer of 2020, we paused publishing of the print edition of Fig West Chester due to COVID, while continuing our social and digital presence, spreading the love-local message. Knowing that Fig is most powerful when it is led by a creative team who is closely connected to the needs of the community, we are now looking for a team of passionate creatives to lead Fig in the Brandywine Valley. We will be taking a short pause from social media as we search.

We are grateful for your ongoing support of our mission and commitment to this community after all these years, and especially as we enter into this new chapter of Fig. Stay tuned for exciting things to come! Until then, continue to live the local life.
