Two people were injured when a pickup truck crossed the center line on slick roads and struck a DeKalb Central school bus head-on just after noon Thursday near Corunna. The bus driver was not injured and no students were on the bus at the time of the crash, police said.

There was a large police presence in the 100 block of West Willow Street in Butler following reports of a shooting around 2:45 pm today.

The house is located to the west of the Butler Public Library and the baseball field in Hathaway Park.

According to police scanner traffic, one person was injured.

Around 3:25 p.m. Thursday, according to police scanner traffic, a suspect was prepared to walk out and surrender.

Indiana State Police are leading the shooting investigation.
