제79주년 광복절을 맞아, 우리는 조상들의 희생과 헌신을 기억하며, 자랑스러운 한국인의 정체성을 되새깁니다. 1945년 8월 15일, 우리 민족은 일제의 압박에서 벗어나 자유를 되찾았고, 그날의 감격은 오늘날까지 이어지고 있습니다.

오늘날 우리는 대한민국의 번영을 자랑스럽게 여기며, 그 자부심을 후세에도 전하고자 합니다. 캔자스시티 한인회는 모든 동포들과 함께 대한민국의 빛나는 역사를 기리며, 광복절의 의미를 되새기는 이 날을 기념합니다.

밑에 비디오는 독립잇다 단체에서 만들어주신 광복절 다큐멘터리입니다. 이 다큐멘터리는 광복 역사를 조금이라도 알릴 수 있는 중요한 자료가 될 것입니다.

As we commemorate the 79th anniversary of Korean Liberation Day, we remember the sacrifices and dedication of our ancestors and reaffirm our proud Korean identity. On August 15, 1945, our nation broke free from the Japanese empire's oppression, and the joy and significance of that day continue to resonate with us today.

We take pride in Korea's prosperity today and are committed to passing on this sense of pride to future generations. The Korean American Society of Greater Kansas City honors Korea's glorious history and celebrates Liberation Day as a reminder of its meaning.

Below is a documentary on Liberation Day created by the organization Doklipitta. This documentary will serve as an important resource to help spread awareness of the history of our liberation.
