The elected past-president of both the American Academy of Religion and the Society of Christian Ethics. He has an international reputation as one of the leading Christian moral thinkers of this era. We talked about his newest book—The Moral Teachings of Jesus.

I had the honor of doing a podcast interview with one the world-renowned historical scholars of the New Testament era of Jesus and Paul—Dr. John Dominic Crossan. Dominic was born in 1934 in Ireland and served as an altar boy, priest, and professor in the Roman Catholic Church world. He is a prolific author, and we talked about his newest book—Paul the Pharisee: A Vision Beyond the Violence of Civilization. At 90 years of age, Dominic is energetically advocating for a Pauline vision of a new humanity rooted in loving nonviolent resistance to the violence we humans are inflicting on our planet and neighbors. Vote Common Good is coming to Kansas City September 26! My friend, Doug Pagitt, is the Founder and Executive Director of Vote Common Good. I did an interview with him last year on the work he is doing.
