It’s a longstanding and uniquely, American pastime, a beloved family tradition for many hunters in the Southeast, and a prime opportunity to showcase the ethical and fair chase pursuit of hunting with dogs.

Despite its place in line with other forms of dog hunting, deer hunting with hounds seems to carry some myths and misconceptions that falsely represent this important part of our shared heritage.
