The Current Etc. We are a Joplin based bi-weekly free magapaper (newspaper that reads like a magazine), providing area entertainment, arts, cuisine and more.

We are here to promote the four state area with area events, arts, entertainment, cuisine and ideas. We know there's plenty to do in the area and we would like to share those ideas with the community. Let us know what's happening and we will share it with the community. The more the merrier!! Hello great people of the four states!!

The Current Etc. will be on hiatus for an uncertain amount of time. There are several factors that play into this decision. We have been at it for 18 years, and we love all of you! From our readers to our advertisers, you have all helped us make this paper a staple in the four-state area, and we are forever grateful!! We will look at a few different options in the near future, and we’ll be sure to keep everyone informed. Remember to always support local, no matter the industry! Peace and Love!!

******ATTENTION******

We had one of our JoMo box trucks stolen over the weekend. Please, be on the lookout for our truck. We do, however, have other trucks on the road so I am attaching the exact truck that went missing.
