New footage has been released showing a Tennessee security guard heroically stopping an attempted mass shooting in Chattanooga. The gunman opened fire on a group of people outside the Dream nightclub, but the guard swiftly intervened and took the suspect down before anyone was harmed. Security footage reveals the 24-year-old suspect parking his car down the road before launching the attack, leading head of security Joe Reed to believe the assault was premeditated. “It was quick action by our licensed security guard who did what he had to do to protect innocent lives,” Reed stated. The gunman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was apprehended.
