Ok everybody…. We have had a few people ask me about our Painted Pony schedule for this summer, and if we would post the dates we will be playing the Rodeo after party in the Longhorn Saloon.
This year we will be playing some weekends back to back Friday and Saturday nights, so here are the dates we will be playing….

Saturday June 29 (Opening Night)
Friday and Saturday July 5/6
Friday July 12
Friday and Saturday July 19/20
Friday and Saturday August 9/10
Friday August 16
Friday and Saturday August 23/24
Friday August 30

What an awesome group of people to help us finish our 13th year playing Friday nights at the Longhorn Saloon!

We will be playing Friday nights again this year at the Painted Pony Rodeo’s after party in the Longhorn Saloon.
June 30th is opening night at the Rodeo, so come check out the action in the arena, and come over to the saloon immediately after the rodeo to party with After-Fx!

I’m am always amazed at how much the people in this community rally together to help one of our own in their time of need. Yesterday was a prime example of this support when everyone came out to the Green Mansions Golf Club to get behind Larry Denton in his battle with cancer.
His family and friends definitely went above and beyond to organize one of the best benefits I have had the pleasure of attending!
Ron Walker at the Green Mansions did not disappoint by his generosity of opening his place for this event, and his staff for the excellent job in taking care of the thirsty attendees.
I’m not going to name everyone that was involved on making the Kick Cancers Ass benefit such a huge success, as I’m afraid I will forget someone, but I will say you all did an amazing job, and should be extremely proud of what you pulled off!
I am thankful you all included me in this amazing event, and I am proud to be part of this community and what we do to help each other in a time of crisis.
My hats off to you all, and again, thank you!!

Happy weekend everyone!….Don’t forget tomorrow starting at noon, will be the benefit for Larry Denton at Green Mansions. There will be great food, raffles, and if it’s your cup of tea, hit the course for a few holes of golf.
We will be playing music from 2 to 6, or who knows, maybe longer 🤔
Please come out and support this great fundraiser for our friend Larry.
