STORYBOARDING
It takes time to understand the full importance of storyboarding. Not only is this a visual guide to accompany a shot list, it is an important tool that can express the director’s vision to their crew and/or client.
Filmmaking is a collaboration. The more stakeholders that are involved on a project, the more diligent you must be in portraying the vision.
And who cares if you can’t draw, give it your best or hire an artist. As long as you can get the vision across, that’s all that matters.
