Gratitude Starts with YOU

You don’t need a big title or corner office to be a leader. Leadership begins with your actions, and one of the most impactful ways to lead is through gratitude and recognition.

Gratitude isn’t something that has to start at the top. A simple thank you, a thoughtful acknowledgment, or taking the time to celebrate someone’s effort can create ripples of positivity. When we make others feel valued, we inspire them to do the same, building a culture of appreciation from the ground up.

Recognize the coworker who quietly steps up. Thank the team member who makes the day smoother for everyone. Celebrate the wins, even when they feel small because they all matter.

Positivity doesn’t wait for permission. It starts with you. What will you do this week to spread gratitude and recognition where you work?

#🗝️ Want better answers from AI? Focus on context!

Create a prompt on ChatGPT or your favorite generative AI tool as you would ordering at a restaurant:

🍔 If you say, “I want a burger,” the waiter might bring you one with onions, and you don't like onions. But if you say, “I’d love a cheeseburger, well done, no onions with fries,” you’ll get what you want!

💡 Example: Instead of “Help me with a resident letter about an AC inspection,” try:
“Write a professional email to our resident explaining the steps needed to repair their air conditioning, including a 48-hour timeline and emergency contact details.”

👉Even better? If you have other letters you've written to residents, copy and paste these into the prompt and state, "Write in the same tone as these previous notices" to keep your notifications as consistent as possible. (If you have a paid account, you can upload documents!)

I wanted to speak about storytelling on this terrific podcast because I based my business, Enthusiastically Consulting, on this foundation. It's all about the CONNECTION.

Role-playing as a leasing agent on LLMs (Large Language Models) with a prospective resident is a powerful way to build confidence, refine communication skills, and turn objections into opportunities!

Let’s talk about something that’s not always easy—putting yourself first. 💡
I’ll admit this is hard for me, and it’s still a work in progress. Like many of you, I’m used to putting others first—family, coworkers, clients. But here’s the truth: when we don’t take care of ourselves, it’s harder to show up fully for the people who need us.

Today, I’m challenging myself (and you!) to carve out just 10 minutes:

🕒 Meditate.
🕒 Go for a quick walk.
🕒 Journal about your goals.
🕒 Take a moment to breathe and refocus.

Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s how we recharge to be there for others. Let’s start the week with clarity, energy, and purpose.
