Enhanced risk for severe weather still intact across northeast Oklahoma . There will be some storms today that produce tennis ball to baseball size hail. That's going to be possible everywhere within that black shaded zone on the hail outlook map. This is possible with every storm that develops today.

There will be some storms today that try really really hard to produce tornadoes. The tornado threat early afternoon and early evening initially looks quite low. Conditions will ramp up to favor tornadoes somewhere in the neighborhood of 7pm-10pm. Notice the black shaded region on the tornado outlook. That region indicates that if a tornado can develop in that zone, it could become a strong tornado.

Wind risk will be there, but mainly after the storms get messy and line out later tonight.

As of Sunday afternoon here is the Latest weather update for Monday April 1st

Some warm advection driven convection may be ongoing early in the period across parts of these regions.
These storms will likely be elevated with a risk for large hail and isolated damaging winds.
By the afternoon, greater potential for surface-based storms will exist from the triple point near the KS/OK border and along the cold front in southeast Kansas into Missouri.
These storms will at least initially be supercells with potential for very-large hail.

Storms are expected to grow upscale with a greater risk of damaging winds.

While not overly strong, low-level shear should remain.

A widespread severe threat is expected on Monday and Monday night for parts of the southern Plains. All hazards, inclu...
