Throwback to 2020, when Chief Engineer Mark Donahue took his 10 year old son Noel to the Grammy Awards. Mark and the Soundmirror team took home a statue that year when the Houston Chamber Choir won Best Choral Performance.

This year's awards ceremony will take place one week from today, Sunday, February 2, and the Recording Academy will use the opportunity to raise additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts.

A goal of our studio renovation is to preserve as much of the classical architectural detail of the bank as possible.

This weekend, Dirk and Mark are repurposing wood panels, and we'll be keeping the wood entryway, the chandeliers, beautiful built-in bookcases, ceiling moulding, and of course the vault.

It's official: after 53 years in Jamaica Plain, Soundmirror is moving. Yesterday, we purchased a beautiful, 1920s classical-style building in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts. We are so excited about this next chapter, and the opportunity to build new, state-of-the-art studios in this incredible space. Follow us as we embark on an exciting renovation in the coming months!
