It's my Artist Spotlight. This program will run infrequently, but will occur on occasion and will also have a podcast home in the meantime.

Episode #1 is with Pacific Northwest-based soul singer from Australia Jade MacRae Music. We talk about her career, her current album In My Veins, her work with Joe Bonamassa, and what's coming in 2025.

Things are kind of quiet right now here at the station. We've been taking a step back through the holiday season. Going to regroup in the new year, but stick with us.

As you all probably know, getting a listening audience takes time and patience. Small town anywhere doesn't embrace change quickly. People are often scared of the unfamiliar or a different way of doing things. However, radio is an industry going through dramatic change. We are trying to attract all ages to Elm City Radio. Catering to multiple demographics while staying local is a difficult thing to do, but we embrace the challenge.

We still have Hidden Frequencies and the Morgan, Scott & Cass Crime Stoppers podcast that air on our station and will continue to do so.

We have new episodes coming up soon. Stay tuned.

Also, we got an exclusive interview with singing sensation Jade MacRae Music at the end of last month on the final leg of Joe Bonamassa's national tour. We are going to have an "Artist Spotlight" show on her music and the interview coming up exclusively on Elm City Radio. I'll announce it a few days before it airs. It was a great interview. If you haven't already, check out Jade's new album "In My Veins." You can hear some select tracks in our rotation.
