Don’t Be A Drag
Don’t Be a Drag is a podcast that I started at the beginning of my senior year in college. I am based in Jacksonville, Alabama, but our reach is much further thanks the services of Anchor Podcast. We are available on Anchor, Stitcher, and Pocket Casts.
Originally it was only going to be a fun little thing for a class, but I thought, if I am going to do this, why not make it something big. So here we are. I am doing interviews with drag queens, drag kings, LGBTQ+ community leaders, and LGBTQ+ voices. I will also be giving away prizes to listeners. Most of the prizes will be either drag cds or autographed prints of kings and queens.
I highly encourage anyone interested in speaking with me to reach out. I want to hear your stories. Whether it be how you became involved in drag, hardships you have faced in life, your successes/failures, discussion on your organization that you are in charge of, etc., I want to hear about it. You never know how your story can be an important piece of a persons life.
