The highly anticipated new George Jones album, "THE LOST NASHVILLE SESSIONS" is finally available!

Country music enthusiasts and devoted fans of the legendary George Jones have a thrilling new reason to celebrate! On November 15, a brand-new album showcasing 16 timeless tracks Jones originally recorded for radio in the 1970s was released, offering a rare and captivating glimpse into his musical legacy.

The Lost Nashville Sessions album offers a treasure trove of rare recordings, showcasing the legendary George Jones in promotional tracks originally created for artists. These recordings, often captured in just one or two takes, were typically discarded by radio stations after their brief airplay, making this collection a truly priceless gem for fans.

For years, these priceless recordings were thought to be lost forever—until a groundbreaking discovery by Thomas Gramuglia, president and executive producer of Country Rewind Records. He uncovered the elusive original master tapes of George Jones, unlocking a hidden treasure trove of timeless music.

With the expert collaboration of co-executive producer Rex Allen Jr. and producer Paul Martin, these iconic songs were meticulously restored, enhancing their sound quality to bring George Jones’ unforgettable voice back to life for today’s listeners to enjoy once more.

This is why the people of the country/south were Real & Tough— they were people who had to rough it just to survive... And Country Music told their stories....(Used to)....

This is the Warm Morning Model 400 heating stove. This is what my parents had in their home through my entire childhood. There was no central heating, and certainly no air conditioning in our home.

My father was a coal miner, so we burned mostly coal, but Dad would also keep some wood to use.

We slept under quilts that my mother had made. In the summertime, we raised all the windows in the house in an attempt to cool off.

On hot summer days my mother would set a table outside under the shade tree. We ate at the table together when Dad got home from work.

It"s amazing what memories come to you by just seeing one picture of an old heating stove. I"ll bet many of you have similar memories.

Can't WAIT for this!!
16 recording set to be released Nov 15th—recordings made by George Jones in 1 or 2 takes & meant for the radio & promotion back in the 70's, were uncovered and remastered (with the occasional instrumentation added) to be released on an album called "The Lost Nashville Sessions"....
"The H***y Tonk Downstairs" was just released as a single off this album... "Lord have mercy that song, you're wearing me out on it," Nancy told George (back in his drunk days), "I do remember him going around singing it quite a bit, he loved that song."
A classic among classics written by the Legend Dallas Frazier.....
Get your pocket books ready, y'all!....

So true. They were best friends

Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and The Panties That Sealed Their Lifelong Friendship!

When it comes to country music friendships, none shine brighter than the bond between Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline. Patsy and Loretta's friendship blossomed in just two years before tragedy struck in 1963, but the two formed a tightknit bond almost immediately and shared some incredible times together.

One legendary tale showcases Patsy pausing a meeting to protect Loretta's spot on the Grand Ole Opry, proving she fiercely supported her friend behind the scenes as well. Patsy and Loretta's friendship began in 1961 after Patsy’s serious car accident. While Patsy was recovering, Loretta dedicated her Midnight Jamboree performance to her, singing a heartfelt rendition of "I Fall to Pieces."

When Patsy caught Loretta's heartfelt performance, she immediately had her manager arrange a visit. Though Patsy was still healing, the two instantly clicked, sparking an unbreakable friendship. While Loretta was making strides in her career, she struggled financially while raising four kids. During tough times, Patsy would cover her rent and invite her for dinner.

But Patsy was generous with more than just food and cash. In a 2016 Bravo TV interview, Loretta shared her favorite memories of the unforgettable moments spent with Patsy Cline: “When I’d go over, she’d be cookin’ for me, and when everything was over and she would start diggin’ in her clothes, finding little old stuff for me to wear, sweaters and stuff. And she’d load me down before the night was over.” “She’s given me a lot of clothes, she might’ve been telling me to dress better. I wore pair of panties that she gave me for 4 years and I don’t know how long she had them before me. I never did wear these panties out, I finally just kept them. There ain’t no way to wear them out. Them panties was the best panties I’ve ever seen.”

Those cherished panties were so significant that they found a spot in one of the original Loretta Lynn museums. Who knew that sharing such a quirky keepsake could help a friendship thrive? While Loretta was always self-sufficient, we can only wonder if she would have become the legend she is today without the support of the amazing Patsy Cline. Here’s to the iconic friendships that shape music history. Rest in peace to these two trailblazing women!
