Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s mugshot is released by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office in Atlanta, Georgia, August 24, 2023. A Georgia grand jury brought indictments against Trump and 18 of his allies in their attempts to overturn the state's 2020 election results.

Trump faces 13 felony counts including racketeering, which is typically used to target organized crime, for pressuring state officials to reverse his election loss in Georgia to Democratic President Joe Biden. He was charged after an investigation led by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Trump, 77, has denied wrongdoing and has called this criminal case as well as three other criminal cases brought against him politically motivated. He is due to enter a plea in the Georgia case on September 5 and has pleaded not guilty in the other three other cases.

Murder Investigation Reward Enhanced

As JSO Detectives continue their investigation into this unspeakable crime, we have been advised that following a generous donation by the F.O.P. Foundation, the reward in this case has been increased to a total of $13,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) responsible.
The Investigation thus far has led investigators to believe that on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at around 1:40 a.m., the victim (White/Female 28) was stopped in a white SUV southbound in the 1400 block of Hendricks Avenue at the railroad intersection as a train was crossing. At some point, an unknown individual(s) approached the victim as she sat in the vehicle and shot her multiple times – causing the vehicle to move forward, striking the train. At some point during the incident, a second victim (White/Female 53) was shot as she stood on an adjacent sidewalk waiting for the train to pass. Both victims succumbed to their injuries as a result of the shootings. It is unknown at this time the motive for the shooting of each victim, or if they were somehow connected.
At this time, we are asking anyone with information on this incident to please contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or [email protected]. To remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $13,000, please call First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS or text **8477.

‼️‼️FLORIDA TEACHER KILLED BY BOYFRIEND, INFANT UNHARMED‼️‼️

A 26-year-old middle school teacher and new mother in southern Florida was killed inside of her home over the weekend where her 10-month-old baby was found crying but unharmed in what is believed to be a murder-suicide at the hands of her boyfriend.

The victim, Amanda Hicks, was a sixth grade reading teacher at Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School in Port St. Lucie’s Martin County.

Investigators allege that Hicks was killed by her boyfriend, whose identity has not been disclosed by authorities.

According to a press release from the Port St. Lucie Police Department, officers at about 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 27 responded to an apartment complex located in the 5500 block of NW East Torino Parkway in reference to a welfare check requested by the family of an adult male resident.

Upon arriving at the scene, first responders say they found the front door of the home locked. However, officers said they could hear a young infant inside the residence crying. Investigating the scene further, police said they were able to see into the residence through a rear sliding door where they spotted what appeared to be two adults lying motionless on the floor.

Officers forced their way through the locked front door and confirmed that the two adults — a male and a female — were deceased. Authorities then removed the unharmed crying infant from the crib. The child was later placed with a family member, according to the release.
