Pastor Keionās explanation was excellent. But, know this: āPastorsā never throw their followers under a bus, to clear their name.ā You take the hit and just, āSAY GOODā, about the person. Because, theyāre Sheep. Disobedient, maybe. Troublesome, at times. But, their soul is more important than vindicating oneās self. Iām not faulting him. Iām saying, sometimes the Church grows bigger than our capacity to cover, in love. People arenāt just a number. Many members, turn on other members and have Pastor-Itis! Theyāre loyalists.
In conventional wisdom, you donāt have a disobedient member on your stage. But, itās my perspective that he wasnāt wrong, just not quite right. For instance, imagine, if heād just gone to her: Laid his hands on her, spoke peace over her. She wouldāve calmed down. If sheās prone to emotion. If sheās attention seeking, itās OK. Itās a fault. Cover it. Donāt say, ābe silent, in the name of Jesusā, to a worshipper. Whisper in her ear. But, in the heat of the moment, we can be brash.
I HAVE THIS PROBLEM. I CAN BE BRASH AND LION FACED, when I should be tender. God, help me. I cast no stones. But, it hurts, because, Iāve talked to God and He said, āTHIS IS WHAT CARING MORE FOR THE PRODUCTION, THAN THE PERSON, LOOKS LIKE!ā And I wept. He shouldāve covered her. Publicly, on National TV, he shouldāve said, āSHEāS A LOVELY PERSON!ā It was just a moment. I am weeping, because, in my time, I HAVE HURT MANY, even though, my heart was TOWARD GOD!
