On behalf of Itasca Breaking News, we would like to issue a formal apology to the city of Italy Texas and their boys basketball team. 

A disturbing video was uploaded yesterday on one of our members personal social media page with ‘ ’ in the description. It unfortunately shows a very embarrassing score in the background of 43-1 (please see attached and then don’t look again). The Itasca Wampus Cats were destroying the Italy Pelicans so bad that CPS nearly got involved. It was really bad! 

Itasca Breaking News proudly stands against all forms of bullying and this includes Completely Annihilating a rival sports team!
*It was like an A24 Film out there yall!

Hopefully the Pelicans can accept our apology!

NOTICE: Parents, Guardians, and Community Members today at 1:15 pm we will be conducting a district-wide lockdown drill with the assistance of law enforcement. Law enforcement vehicles will be on all campuses with lights on during the drill. It is a practice drill.

So yesterday this sweet dog got out and was picked up by someone on Martin Street here in Itasca Texas. That person went door to door looking for the owner with no luck. One of the other Animal control Officers tried to take the dog but she didn’t want her going to the kennels and took the dog.We believe she went towards Grandview but we aren’t certain. If you know who has this sweet dog please message me and or call me 2547074575. The owner would love to have her back.

As first order of buisness with the animal control, we wanted to post our current residents down below and give a chance for the owner to be reunited with their four legged family members. If you are an owner of one of our residents, feel free to contact the police department (254-687-2020) and request for Cpl. K. Konz. If Cpl Konz is not on duty at the time of the call leave your name, your number, and what furry canine is your family member and the onduty officer will ensure Cpl Konz gets your information.

As of right now, we are giving the owners a chance. If there are no owners coming forward then an adoption process will be announced as well as how the adoption process will be handled.

Our ultimate goal here is to give our furry friends a second chance at life, love, and happiness.
