For Immediate Release

Siena Fallon to step down from ComicsPRO Board of Directors; Shannon Live appointed to serve out term.

ComicsPRO, the trade organization for Comic Store Retailers, today announced that Siena Fallon, of Ultimate Coimcs, is stepping down from the ComicsPRO Board of Directors, for personal reasons. Shannon Live, of Bat City Comic Professionals, has been appointed – by the Board – to serve out the remainder of the term.

“We are going to miss Siena on the Board!” said Marco Davanzo, Executive Director of ComicsPRO. “Siena brought vitality, enthusiasm, and a really focused way of thinking to the Organization!”

Added Joe Murray, President of the Board: “Siena accomplished a great deal in a brief period of time - assembling a great team, laying the groundwork for upcoming Education initiatives, and finding new partners for ComicsPro to work with.”
As per ComicsPRO Bylaws, when there is a vacancy on the Board, the President recommends, to the Full Board - a member to finish out that term. The Board then votes to accept the recommendation.

The ComicsPRO Board voted unanimously to have Shannon Live join the Board.

“We are fortunate that Shannon is joining us,” said Murray. “Siena and Shannon worked closely together on developing Education programs and Shannon can seamlessly take over current projects. Shannon has a lot of enthusiasm, drive, and has an education/training background – which is going to be important as she leads ComicsPRO’s educational outreach. I think Shannon is a great fit and will carry ComicsPro’s momentum forward”.
