Hi all. Welcome to QueenDavide a.K.a. SupahWeegeeman a.k.a Tentativeundertaker aka DavidDrawsgood aka David Musicsgood aka Davide Osgood aka DaveD2’s art page. If you’re here then you probably have seen my artwork. Congratulations. I hope you enjoy my art, or at the very least it brings some kind of spice to your life.
I had trouble with fine motor skills and handwriting as a child and my parents encouraged me to start drawing. And since then I have never stopped.
Some of my earliest inspirations were EddsWorld, the work of Shigeru Miyamoto, and Internet Memes. The first form of digital art I began pursuing as a young tween was Pixel Art. At the tender age of 10 years old, I began posting my artwork on The Spriters Resource, under the aliases Quizzle, Toad and Koala. I wanted to be able to create video games just like Super Mario Bros. Deluxe - my favorite game as a kid.
Around this time, my friends Richard McCormack, Ethan Powers, Brennan Waters, James Perakis, Matthew DiBello and Jesse Brink and I started a website called Dino Campaign. With the help of my friend Richard, I learned how to use Game Maker 8 and create several fun projects, including a game called Goomba’s Shotgun, and another called Weegee’s Adventure.
My interests in the internet in 2009 led me to launch create a Youtube Channel and a Deviantart Page - on both of which I went by the username SupahWeegeeman, with a persona named Ozzy.
On this channel I posted absurd YTP video edits, MSPaint Animations, and gameplay of SMB Level Designs I had created. On my Deviantart page I shared sketches, short Flash Animations, and my Pixel Art. I was excited to be creating content similar to that I had seen on Newgrounds and Youtube around this time.
In 2011, I became part of the collective experience known as (shudder) ....
the Homestuck Fandom on Tumblr. My sister and her friends had discovered MSPaintAdventures before me, and after I was introduced to this comic I immediately became hyperfixated on it. I used my prowess of digital editing which I had l earned through pixel art to make custom sprites, fantrolls, Panel Edits, and eventually my own Fan-Adventures.
From this exposure to a larger audience online, I realized that I wanted to pursue the creation of more original content. Through 2012 and 2013 I continued to create comics, original characters, game concepts, sketches, animations, with a balance between fanworks and orignal content. Around 2014 I took a bit of a hiatus from the internet. Everybody needs a break. In 2015 I did fundraising for my church, became part of a rap crew, organized a Smash Bros Tournament, interned at ICAM Video in Ipswich, and graduated high school. Oh yeah and I also went to Japan for 3 Weeks with my sister and hiked Mt. Fuji.
In 2016 I attended the CalArts Summer Session, where I met even more wonderful and lovely animation folks. It was at this time when was inspired to finally create an Instagram Page, and thus DavidDrawsGood was born.
From 2015 to 2019 I attended College at UMass Amherst where I studied Animation with a minor in Computer Science. At college, I continued to hone my skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Premiere, and the rest of the Creative Suite. I was also able to get more practice in Comics, Life Drawing, and other forms of art. At the same time in my computer science classes, I learned how to code in Java, C and JavaScript. I also got more practice creating animation using Stop Motion, and 3D software including Maya and Blender.
At College I gained a variety of life experiences. I met some of my best friends, I learned a great deal from the UMass Animation Department, and additionally took animation classes through the five college interchange at Hampshire College, with professors Dillon Markey, Chris Perry and Bassam Kurdali. I was inspired to start developing a comic called The Odd Squadd by my friend Sadie Griesmer. I joined the Animation Club Freshman year, and by my Senior year I became the president of the club. Running this club was probably one of the most useful things I ever did in terms of learning what a professional production is like, alongside the Summer Animation Residency I did at Hampshire College in 2018. With Professor Dillon Markey, I worked with ana amazing team to create an animated short called Kneaded Courage, which can be viewed on Vimeo.

In Dec. 2019 I graduated with my BFA and Comp Sci Minor. Since then I have been creating artwork on my own and looking for work. Given the skyrocketing unemployment rates during this COVID-19 Pandemic we are in, I have turned my focus towards sustaining a business as an online Independent Creator. My commissions are always open, and I am working each day to find new ways to sell my artwork. All of my interests growing up gave me a foundation of skills as a Digital Creator which I am now putting to the test, to see if I can turn my Hobby into a Jobby.
Stay tuned for more stuff.
