Nowadays, people carry the misconception that when our body dies our life ends. Yet, let us define "Life."
Life is measured by a great many things that can be aptly summarized as: +Movement - whether forward or backward, life is movement.
+Progression - not to be misconstrued as only towards Positive results, you may also progress towards Negative results, it's all up to you.
+Innovation and Change - although change is a given, perpetually around and within us, one way we measure life is by how much we change the systematic, and also the chaotic, ways that things work and are worked out to make them more efficient - less energy and exertion to yield equal or greater results.
+Achievement - this one is a variable. It carries a static belief of what the accomplishment of this would look like, and to be pragmatic on the matter, just to go through life making Positive impact on others and passing on your insights is indeed a notable achievement so I'll leave that to the reader to define although I'll state one more thing: be reasonable when trying to define this. To set this too low is to not accomplish as much as you could, to set this too high will frustrate you by throwing yourself on the failure to reach an unachievable goal.
Now comes the concise definition and measure of life - Impact.
+Impact - this covers not only your impact on others but also on yourself. Your influence that you have on others is due to your initial Impact and can hinder or facilitate your future and advertent impact on them.

Blood - Acuity

Blood rushes into my head,
Roll myself up off the bed,
Land flat on my face and,
Go treat life like a bass stand,
Blood pushes itself into my heart,
Spills up out and breaks it apart,
Takes away my life's reason,
Forces the hand to commit treason,
I hate myself, so why even try,
To fake a smile,
"I'm alright" I lie,
The only thing stopping my flight,
Is the noose I tied on just right.

Searching For Love - Acuity

If you could see the emptiness inside these eyes,
Would you believe you could fix 'em?
How can I make you realise,
That your love can fill 'em?
All I want's some loving care,
Someone who will always be there,
But I'm left to search for naught,
Realising she's all I've got.
But why should i throw my life away,
Love after love and day to day,

There's this little game I play,

Because pain is all love really brings,
And I like the way the word "death" rings,
So I wait for the Spring,
To catch my Fall,

All the pain and all of the tears,

I know that I'm unusual,

Don't Care - Acuity

What the f**k am I good for?
Don't even care to feel anymore!
Try to read the emotion on my face,
You'll walk away all disgraced.
Don't even bother tryin'a love me,
Not a soul in this world can set me free,
All you'll do is waste our time,
Maybe even lose your mind.
No label or title to which I'm signed,
I put that away and tried to find,
A little bit of happiness,
Condemned to a hit and miss,
Never even made our first kiss,
Before I felt this lovelessness,
Before I fell to your hatred,
no matter what I needed.
You never heeded,
Any of my calls,
Sat and watched,
All of my falls.
And never even helped me up,

I see right through your smile,

--Depression is a weapon,
In which we do not understand,
Filling the void of happiness,
Spreading through the land,
Killing off the weak minded,
Leaving only the strong,
And when the pain subsides,
Only one more dies.

The end of our path is at Hell's gate,

Ravaging the town,
