Finally, some good weather with no rain so we could get some wood chips down on the path to the bird barn! What's left of our flock are helping to scatter them and enjoying whatever treats they find.

Thank you for your donations both through GoFundMe and the individual checks that have been arriving in the mail. We were hesitant to ask for help because that's just how we're built, and weren't sure we were worthy of it considering all of the other needs and tragedies in our country right now.

You have encouraged us to keep building our farm, no matter what it takes. We can't wait to get back to raising food, providing eggs and produce to local food pantries and put last year in the rearview mirror.

Thank you!

We miss our customers and want to get back to work! Please help us rebuild our laying flock, even a like and a share can make a huge difference for us. The losses we suffered last year are staggering. We estimate we've lost about $65k in investments in our flock and future sales and we want to get back to the work we love. https://www.gofundme.com/f/aid-our-farms-recovery-from-losses

After going through our recovery plan and seeing how much we lost and what it's going to cost us to replace our flock, it brought me great joy to see our 2024 calendar in the trash.

Thanks for watching, it took a lot of work to come as far as we did and want to get it together again.

Once upon a time a young man had nothing better to do and enlisted in the Army. It took him to far away places over the course of nearly 23 years, at which time he was able to devote his heart and soul to our farm.

Vote like you mean it.

In 2005 in Mosul, Iraq we witnessed people dodging gunfire and death threats just because they were trying to vote. Their fingers were marked so they could not cheat and vote again, which also made them easy targets for terrorists.

Go and vote; it's easy here.
