Divided By Zero Books specializes in Military Science Fiction, with the flagship title being the zombie epic, "The Thin Line of Life." In 2020, he launched The Blanket Fortress of Solitude, which serves as the podcast of record for Derwin Lester II.

The default setting for life is suffering. Sometimes, life grants you a lucky break. A few days or years of happiness. The bills are paid on time. A growing family. Peace in our time. Then life laughs, and takes it all away, even in a place as safe as America.

There was once a place called America, the beacon of hope for the rest of the world. America was beautiful, filled with obesity and charity and crime. It was ugly in parts, but America believed in self improvement as it's defining trait. No nation on Earth fought harder for equality or fairness. Now it simply fights to live. The center has fallen apart but somehow the edges still hold. The war wages on and the struggle for survival continues.
