The U.S. Supreme Court decision in Grants Pass v. Johnson effectively criminalizes people who are unhoused.

This decision to uphold local laws that criminalize sleeping in public spaces will directly impact and criminalize people who are unhoused. Instead, let’s turn to community centered responses and infrastructure, invest in affordable housing, and prioritize safe, stable places for people to live and thrive.
