To the humans and animals who have served and those in service, thank you. My mom told me that my grandparents both served in the military which I think is really cool. I love them very very much and am spending the day with them to let them know how much I love them and to thank them for their service.

This is my favorite spot in the whole house. Mom always keeps lots of pillows and blankets on the couch just for me because she knows I love to take naps.

One last lake trip before winter comes! While I wasn’t quite sure about the life jacket, mom insisted. I was really glad to have it once we were on the water though. I stood on the very tip of the kayak to feel the wind on my face. Dad thought I was very brave, but Mom was worried I was going to fall in…and I did! It was really cold, but I am a great swimmer so I was safe. We all laughed once I was back on the boat, but I stayed curled up in mom’s lap for the rest of the trip though, you know, for her safety.
