“For 70 years, Serizawa’s oxygen destroyer has remained on the ocean floor along with the remains of the original Godzilla. A grim reminder of the power struggle between nature and humanity’s hubris.
The devastating power of the device was lost beneath the ocean… until now.”
Look what just washed up!
Here’s my version of the oxygen destroyer. I have never seen someone do a replica that looked like it had spent time in the ocean… all of them are shiny and new. So I decided to make a weathered and rusted version that looks like it has spent 70 years underwater.
Like all of my creations it’s not exactly screen accurate. I couldn’t get any plastic or glass to fit inside so I just imagine that it eroded away with time. It’s nice having it not be screen accurate… makes it uniquely mine.
