🤔 SHOULD YOU TAKE CRITICISM? I don't think so! 🙅🏼‍♀️ Only if it's coming from OFF the "Give-A-Sh*t List," that is... A former boss introduced me to a strategy I like to call the "Give-A-Sh*t List." You get a piece of paper 📝 + write down the names of people who ACTUALLY MATTER TO YOU. If these people said, "Hey, you should NOT do XYZ" it would ACTUALLY flag you 🚩 I hung my list above my desk which forced me to look at it every day. The tangible process of deciding who I trusted for feedback helped me tremendously to filter out the rest. Taking feedback is SO IMPORTANT, but you also CANNOT take it from the wrong people. AKA people who don't know you, don't care about you + don't give a sh*t about helping you reach your goals.
