On this Day in 2010, A Literal Legend passed from his Earthly Bonds, and ascended to become the Eternal "Man On The Silver Mountain". He was one of the most amazing Humans I've ever met. We are Lucky to be able to Listen and be influenced by his Massive Contribution to the Musical Makeup of this Planet. From Elf, to Rainbow, Sabbath, to Dio, and finally Heaven and Hell, his influence and Foot Print, will forever be difficult to quantify. R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio! ♫ ♫

Happy Birthday to one of the most influential Drummers of All Time, Bill Ward (William Thomas Ward), born on this day, in 1948, in Birmingham, UK. His influence on Drummers, and Music in General can probably NEVER be accurately quantified!
He was a co-founder and original drummer for Black Sabbath. Ward helped found Sabbath in 1969 alongside Ozzy, Tony Iommi and Geezer. Drumming website Totaldrumsets has listed Ward among "The 100 Most Influential Drummers Ever!" and has defined him "the mastermind behind the unholy birth of heavy metal drumming". In 2016, he was ranked 42nd in Rolling Stone's list 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time.

On THIS day, in 2007, we (Scot Clayton II, Mary Jo Jones, and Myself) were in New York City, at the famous Radio City Music Hall, for one of the BEST Concerts of my Entire Life. As it turned out, it was immortalized on Audio (mixed by Wyn Davis), AND, Video (DVD, and BluRay). The Visuals were AMAZING, and I've NEVER heard a live performance by anyone, that sounded SO amazing! Luckily, I can 'relive' it anytime, by listening to the Album, and/or Watching it on BluRay! ♫ ♫

I can't believe it's been 6 YEARS!? This was at my Cancer Fundraiser, at the former SideTracks Music Hall, up on Stage jamming with the Local Orbit guys. (Sabbath's - N.I.B.) I hadn't been 'on stage' for years, and wasn't sure I could make it through the whole tune, but DID! ( I was 'recovering' from Radiation Treatments and Surgery, and DID almost pass out, when I stood up, but it was FUN!)

An amateur drummer dies and goes to heaven. While he is waiting outside the pearly gates, he hears some incredibly fast drumming coming from within heaven.
